Jacques has been studying neuroscience and how it can be applied in sales and marketing since reading INFLUENCE – The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert B. Cialdini, Ph.d in 1998. He was absolutely fascinated by some of the neuroscience strategies in this book. It started him on his journey of discovery on how the brain can be influenced and persuaded to buy.
Based on his research, he authored the programme, How To Persuade Anybody To Do Almost Anything. 2000+ delegates have been exposed to the teaching from this programme already.
He now teaches these neuroscience skills to sales people around South Africa and as far as Teheran, Iran. He also teaches these skills to marketers, copywriters and content specialists to help them convert more leads to sales.
Jacques has spent many hours devouring information on neuroscience so that he can share his findings with his clients.

He is currently reading Proust Was A Neuroscientist by Johah Lehrer. In short the book is about how artists like Gertrude Stein, George Eliot, Virginia Woolf and Marcel Proust (among others) have discovered truths about the human mind, that science is only now discovering. This book makes for interesting reading and would make an excellent addition to any sales person and marketers library.
