Every business person should be a good negotiator. We are not all empowered to negotiate over price, but there is a lot more to negotiation than that. Every sale is a process of negotiation. Participative management is negotiation. We negotiate every day of our lives for something. Good negotiated solutions happen when both parties feel they did well out of the deal, and in that case both parties are likely to want to go back for more. The first stage is to gather information. The more you know about your negotiation opponent, the more you will achieve from the negotiation

The next stage is to use the right techniques to ensure that you are not giving it all away, but trading it for something you want. Far too often the negotiator feels their opponent has the upper hand, but this is just not true. The best negotiator has the upper hand and an understanding of a few simple techniques will greatly improve your performance.

The course content is simple but very effective and will give your team a much broader understanding of what is involved in Negotiation.
