Jacques de Villiers Group presents a new public sales training workshop in South Africa

The Jacques de Villiers Group (JDVG) introduces a new public sales training workshop in South Africa by Ray Patterson.

A number of people have asked JDVG if it wouldn’t consider running a public  Architecture of Selling workshop again after retiring it last month (15 August 2012). Unfortunately, the Architecture of Selling sales training will only be presented for companies, in-house in future.

But, here’s an opportunity to experience something different, exciting and hugely relevant: RAP Selling by Ray Patterson!

Ray Patterson (a 40-year sales veteran) and Jacques de Villiers have worked together in the past. We recently shared a speaking platform in Teheran, Iran in January … he got rave reviews. Ray has been showcased on some JDVG events, once again, to rave reviews.

“He is one of the most relevant and exciting South African sales trainers I’ve seen in a long time. And, this is not marketing hype. I’ve been around the block a few times and have been jaded by exposure to my fair share of sales training facilitators and speakers over the past 29 years. So, if Ray got me to sit up and take notice, we’re probably onto something.

“Thus, I have no hesitation in introducing him to you. In fact, before I considered Ray as a trainer for the JDVG, this is what I said about him -[ “Ray Patterson is the salesman’s salesman. His enthusiasm, knowledge and drive to ‘inspire a professional sales attitude’ is a must if you are considering a sales speaker for your conference or want to send your team on training,”]” Jacques de Villiers, creator of the Architecture of Selling System

About Sales Training Specialist Ray Patterson

Public sales training in South Africa

Ray Patterson – RAP Selling

When Ray was 16 he started selling at a clothes shop on a Friday afternoon and Saturday morning to earn some pocket money. He was immediately hooked on selling. From then on he just knew that he wanted to be in sales.

After spending 16 years working for different companies in positions ranging from General Accounts Salesman, Key Accounts Salesman, Sales Manager, Sales Director, Commission-only Home Improvements Salesman and Group Managing Director, he started his own business.

The business was completely reliant on a team of 10 good commission-only salespeople. It was here that he realized his potential as a successful sales trainer.

In 1992 Ray started the Professional Sales Association so that salespeople could have some form of recognition.
